DOUBTING THOMAS

A newly-wed couple are shot to death in their New Zealand farmhouse. Police find their dinner eerily half eaten on the table and their baby girl alive in her cot. When local farmer, Arthur Allan Thomas, is sent down for their murder the case is closed. Until 10 years later when a journalist finds evidence that he was framed. For over 40 years the murder of Jeanette and Harvey Crewe has remained the greatest unsolved mystery in NZ criminal history. This podcast reopens the investigation in 2021, as Arthur is back in court, this time fighting historic sexual assault charges. Is he once again the victim of false accusation? Did the Police have the right suspect all along? Who killed the Crewes? This Podcast intends to find out.
